Traditional City Deck, N.Y.C.

This project involved building a deck on the rear of a single family brownstone in the West 50's.

There are not a lot of single family brownstones left in the City. The owner of this one wanted a traditional covered wooden deck. The architect, using a period model from the Upper East Side, designed this roofed deck. There are vertical louvers on the sides for privacy.
